My client, Brian, was selling his home and had some home inspection items that needed to be fixed.
Exterior wood rot is a common item flagged by home inspectors in this part of Colorado.
There were several areas including all around the chimney, under the eaves, and behind gutters that were on the list.
I did not get pics of all the areas, but here is that chimney corner after the replacement of the trim and painting.
There were also several areas where the old pressboard siding had swollen and broken off.
I forgot to grab “before” pics, but here is and “after” pic of one of the worst areas (there was a large chunk missing).
